Biography

Dr. Shaista is a skilled General Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in Urgent Care and GP OPD. She received her MBBS degree from Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. She pursued and completed the MRCGP (INT) in 2021, making her an International Member of the RCGP (UK). She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Diabetes from the University of South Wales in the United Kingdom. She has been in Abu Dhabi since 2013. She is well-versed in assessing, stabilizing, diagnosing, and treating accident and emergency patients and transferring them to appropriate units based on their clinical condition. She sees all types of family medicine patients in GP clinics. She is especially interested in treating chronic disease patients, particularly managing diabetes mellitus and its complications.
